Holcoglossum amesiana can be found in India, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam or China in full sun on rocks or as an epiphyte in forests at elevation between 1200-1600 meters.
Holcoglossum amesiana is a medium sized orchid, flowers in the autumn or winter on a long inflorescence carrying 15-50 fragrant flowers.
Keep them in full sun.
Holcoglossum amnesiana is an easy to grow orchid but slow to flower the pinkish purple flowers often take 6 months to fully develop.
They are vanda like orchids therefor they prefer to be soaked several times a week. Best to keep them in wirebasket or mounted on tree brunches.
