Dendrobium lichenastrum is species of epiphytic or lithophytic orchide endemic to far north Queensland.
Dendrobium lichenastrum is a miniature orchid.
It has a creeping rhizome surrounded by fleshy, dark green leaves that are round shaped. Dendrobium lichenastrum has a single white, cream coloured or pink flower with red stripes and an orange lip.
Flowering occurs througout the year, but the main bloom season is in the autumn.
They requier winter rest with bright light occasional watering without fertilizing.
